It was beautiful on Friday and Wyatt loves sleeping in the stroller so I took him, Larkin and Riley on a walk. Sharon and Cooper were running errands and then she dropped Cooper off at the park to walk home with us. Larkin walked Riley to the park, she was talking to Riley the whole time.
Today Cooper had the choice of inviting any adult special friend to his preschool brunch day. He gave me the invite. It was a sweet fun time where he could show me around his preschool. I hope I keep being his first choice. Thanks C!
This week we went to OMSI (Science Museum) with Erin, Teo and Ciaran. Cooper is outgrowing the science playground area that is for younger kids. He really likes Turbine Hall that has cranes and boats to play with. He also liked a new exhibit that was on exercise and health. Oh and he still loves the Gravitram, he could watch that thing all day.
Today was Special Friends Brunch at preschool. The kids made invitations and asked a special friend to join them for food at their preschool. Cooper chose Mama and they had a blast. The kids made hats for their friends and they each brought a food item to contribute to the lunch. Here is Sharon coming home with her hat.
It snowed Tuesday night, it was so pretty watching it come down. Cooper has been patiently waiting for snow to have a snowball fight. When he woke up we looked outside and then quickly bundled out to enjoy it. It was raining pretty hard but we had a blast and so did the dogs.
I took on another baby to watch. It will mostly be Mondays with an occasional Tuesday or Friday. The baby is almost four months old and they live three houses away. Yesterday was my first day, it went really well. Cooper did great, he had some jealousness with me holding the baby but he was a great helper. Here he is keeping the baby occupied.
The baby napped briefly throughout the day, he loved the Maya sling to fall asleep in and hang out in when awake.
Sharon begun tiling the shower. Sweet it looks awesome, instant gratification. Susan came over today and helped clean the work site and primed the walls.
Walls are up in the bathroom. Sharon has been diligently working on it to get ready to tile. She also made another storage space in the attic.
Here is Cooper helping Mama screw something in.
We've been in a state of construction with all the sheetrock and plywood but it's just about done! I will post some pictures of the sheet-rocked bathroom soon.
I am glad break is over and we are in a routine again. It's been a nice break but the lack of structure is making me a little nuts. Cooper asked about Larkin everyday this last week. We actually ran into them at Target yesterday. It was great because Cooper was adamant about seeing her and there she was!
We had preschool today and although Cooper didn't want to go, he had a great time. I think he missed his classmates because the teacher said he was out of his shell. We also had tap class this afternoon. He told me he was nervous before the class started and he remained that way for the class. He did participate, he loved the jumping part and couldn't wait to tell Mama about it.
Cooper's imagination is fantastic right now, lots of good stories and boy is he funny.
