Pacifier
Cooper is now able to take the pacifier out of his mouth with his own hands. This is big stuff. However, he sometimes has a difficult time getting the pacifier back into his mouth. The other day he woke up from a nap and had the pacifier in his mouth the wrong way and it was a little stuck. It scared him and he was not happy about it. In this picture you can see the new way he likes to have his pacifier and the correct way.
Here is a happy boy in his new high chair.

New toy
We went to Babies R' Us this weekend to look at exersaucers because Cooper wants to be more active and not just lie on his back and play. We have a bouncy chair but Sharon wanted something that he could put his feet on. We put him in this one at the store (the most expensive one there) and he loved it. He was giggling and smiling and having a blast looking at all the toys. Of course we bought it for him and he still loves it. It will grow with him too eventually turning into an activity table when he can stand on his own. There are a lot of toys at his fingers now and he can spin in the chair with his feet.
Food, and lots of it
It's official, Cooper loves food. I could have told you this months ago with the amount of breast milk he consumes. He is well on his way to trying all sorts of new foods. He likes bananas, pears and apples. He tried sweet potatoes today and by golly liked those as well. I made my first batch of pears yesterday. We bought a Magic Bullet which makes steaming and pureeing foods much easier. I'm going to make sweet potatoes and carrots today. Go Cooper!!!

Christmas Tree
We bought our Christmas tree this weekend. We went to our favorite tree stand on SE 48th and Belmont. We bought a little tree since there will be so many people in the house this season. I'm excited to have a real tree and to be staying in Portland this year.
